Ambrose Wine Limited
Established in 1996 as a spin off from Seagram Thailand, AMBROSE WINE LTD is a specialist wine company based in Thailand. It is owned by the Techapaibul family, who also make up the company's Board of Directors. The Techapaibul family have been prominent in business and banking in Thailand for many years and were formerly joint venture partners with Seagram in Thailand.
Prior to 1996 Seagram's had consistently been Thailand's market leader in wine sales. AMBROSE WINE LTD has continued that leadership since 1996 during the high and low market environments of the last few years.
Regional Sales of AMBROSE WINE LTD are handled through exclusive agents who provide local inventory, delivery, sales and marketing support to Thailand's provinces. Agents are set up in Chiang Mai, Pattaya and Koh Samui . A Phuket branch office was recently set up to provide a stronger focus and better service in that area.
AMBROSE WINE LTD currently employs 130 people: 20 in Sales and Marketing and 35 in Warehousing and Logistics. In addition AMBROSE WINE LTD has a team of 50 in-store promoters who work as product consultants in leading retail stores throughout the country.
Ambrose has 650 square metres of storage area, including 2 temperature-controlled warehouses and efficient clearing and delivery programs to minimize the danger to wine from Thailand's climate. Service, Integrity and Quality brands have made AMBROSE WINE LTD Thailand's leading wine company.
