To ensure that our methodology is environmentally friendly, we work closely with representatives from the forestry department - we even produce our own natural fertilizer on site.
Greening Initiative
At Ambrose, we have always been an environmentally conscious company; minimizing our footprint on this planet. To further our commitment to the environment, beyond business as usual, Ambrose has invested into a reforestation project in Phu Rua, Leoi province, Thailand.
The 1,322 rai or 2.12 km2 plot of land is located in the hills of Phu Rua in Northeastern Thailand. Originally designed as a teak wood plantation by its previous owners, "Fah Phu Rua" consists of 40% natural Dry Dipterocarp forest, 40% teak plantation, 15% pine plantation and 3% farmlands.
Ambrose's mission is to preserve and expand the natural forest. Since 1997, we have planted almost 80,000 saplings and plan to plant another 30,000 in over the next three years. We are also working local villagers to limit the encroaching farmlands and ensure sustainable agriculture in the farmland areas.
